Ancient Church Found The remnants of an ancient church and graveyard have been unearthed in the town of Veliko Tarnovo in Bulgaria by a group of archaeologists. The ruins date back to around the 13th century and where known at St Ivan Rilski. The site is where Saint Rilski's body was stored before being moved onto Rila Monastery. Nearby they also discovered a burial ground where aristocrats where believed to have been buried.
The ruins are not fully preserved but still show how wonderful they once where.
